Are you in G.E.A.R.?

Do you know what G.E.A.R. means? This is Governor Marty's challenge
to all club presidents and secretaries for this Rotary year. G.E.A.R.
stands for Governor's Early Attendance Report. Here are the rules:

1. For each Club that reports their monthly attendance to the
District by the 15th day of the following month (example: Report for
July is provided by August 15th), the club president AND club
secretary will be eligible for drawings for a Paul Harris Fellow (one
for club presidents, one for club secretaries) that will be conducted
at the District Conference in Oklahoma City on April 19th.
2. If clubs provide their reports timely for each month from July
through March (meaning the report due April 15th), they will be
eligible for the drawings.
3. If only one club has provided timely reports for each month, their
president and secretary will be awarded the Paul Harris Fellows.
4. If no clubs provide timely reports for each of the 9 months of the
contest, the club or clubs with the most reported months (for example,
6, 7, or 8 months, instead of 9) will win, or be eligible for the drawing.
5. The winners must be present at the District Conference to claim
their prizes.

Reporting attendance is a vital requirement of your club that should
not be taken lightly. The GEAR award is a great way to be eligible
for a benefit for simply doing what each club is already supposed to
do! Hopefully, your club president and secretary can make themselves
eligible for these prizes.
