All Club Presidents, Youth Exchange Officers, and Members:
Wings of Rotary, our District 5750 short-term youth exchange program with District 2520 in Japan is resuming our four decades of youth exchange in 2023. We will receive students from Japan in March and send students in June. The flyer and videos on the Wings of Rotary webpage are helpful in understanding the program.
This truly is an opportunity of a lifetime for students. Students encouraged are in high school, and will be freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors this coming school year 2022-2023. Promote the program to your businesses, schools, churches, scouts, and more.
Students are to be sponsored by individual clubs. The cost of the trip is their airfare and the bullet train. Once in Japan, our Japanese Rotarians completely host the team. Clubs generally give a financial scholarship for their student if accepted. Not all students who apply are accepted. There will be a small group this year due to health concerns.
